Grand Cross
Grand Cross, often abbreviated to " GC, Crusaders rely on the massive damage of the Grand Cross skill to quickly destroy mobs of Demon and Undead monsters.
- MATK & INT: Their most important trait is a high amount of MATK (the primary factor in Grand Cross's damage) as well as plenty of SP ( Grand Cross has a hefty SP cost of 100 at level 10), so INT is usually the favored stats.
- VIT: Because of the nature of mobbing, VIT is important for DEF and boosting Max HP (Crusaders have good HP tables).
- DEX & STR: Finally, most Grand Cross Crusaders balance out their remaining stats between DEX (faster Grand Cross cast time), and STR (slightly affects GC damage and provides more pot-carrying capacity). Sometimes the VIT and DEX priorities are switch around however.
Due to the lengthy nature of Crusader skill prerequisites, most Crusaders build around Grand Cross and only one other skill: either Heal or Sacrifice.
GC + Heal
GC + Heal Crusaders are the PvM class to beat, and arguably one of the fastest paths to 99. They benefit from a certain level of self-sufficiency, and on top of already being great for cleaning up mobs of Undead/ Demon, they can also make great mobbers, MvP tanks, and survivors in WoE (as long as they learn to avoid skills that do extra damage on characters with high DEF).
- INT: By far the most important stat as:
- Grand Cross and Heal have large SP requirements.
- " INT + Base Level" determines Heal amount.
Having 90+ INT is fairly typical, and going all the way to 99 is not unheard of. Despite having that much SP, Crusaders will find themselves resting often without a Priest. Even with Magnificat it can be difficult.
- VIT: Beyond boosting their MATK, SP, and Heal jumps, most GC + Heal Crusaders favor a high amount of VIT. Usually built around PvM mobbing or MvP tanking, these Crusaders enjoy taking full advantage of their HP boosts and piling on the DEF. 90+ VIT is not unusual, but beware, Ice Picks, Occult Impaction, and Acid Bomb will make quick work of you in PvP/ WoE. A balanced amount of DEF for PvP is suggested to be between 55 and 75 VIT.
- DEX: Usually picked up in the early days as a Swordsman, and as a Crusader, it helps lower the cast time on Grand Cross. Casting Grand Cross as quickly as possible allows the player to activate it before taking too much damage or before the opponent runs or Hides out of range. With a really slow cast time, a stunned opponent could become unstunned while Grand Cross is being cast and simply walk away. The minimum suggested DEX is 40ish base, and can range to the 90s.
- STR: The tack-on stat of choice. Extra room for carrying potions is nice, and ATK does play a role in determining Grand Cross damage.
GC + Sacrifice
GC + Sacrifice Crusaders are just as useful in PvP/ WoE as they are in PvM. More often than not, these Crusaders will be paired up with Wizards or Sages in WoE since Sacrifice gives immunity to cast interruption (whereas Phen Card and Bloody Buterfly lose that effect during WoE). In PvM, these Crusaders are very useful for large-party leveling scenarios like Biolabs and Thanatos, often Sacrificing for the tank or any of the soft targets to prevent mishaps from turning into disasters.
- INT: Important for leveling with Grand Cross during the low levels and middle ranges, but not nearly as important as it is for the Grand Cross + Heal variation. 70-80 INT will suffice.
- DEX & VIT: The primary balancing act takes place between these two stats, where DEX is significantly more important for re-casting Sacrifice on Wizards & Sages as quickly as possible in PvP, while VIT is more important for keeping you alive when Sacrificing for a tank/mobber in large leveling parties. One usually ends up in the 60-80 range, while the other ends up in the 80's or 90's.
- STR: Again, STR is nice to tack on towards the end, for carrying extra potions (especially for those without a Peco).

For a crusader that will level using a Soul-Link and Shield Boomerang, it may be possible to forgo getting dexterity in favor of more agility or vitality, as Shield Boomerang never misses when under the influence of a Soul-Link.
Magnum Break is used as an AoE skill in WoE and PvP in conjunction with a Sword Breaker or Shield Breaker to spread status or to knock people out of hide. It is not generally used for damage purposes.
In order to gain the best DPS with a Soul-Link, 182 attack speed is the ideal. This has to do with the animation delay of the skill. Nothing more than 182 attack speed will help when using Linked Shield Boomerang.

This build is generally reliant on parties for leveling, as they typically have low strength and intelligence. This is not a soloing character, however it is probably the most useful of all of the crusader builds for WoE. It utilizes high vitality and high dexterity to quickly cast Sacrifice on any characters that would make good use of more HP or an uninterruptable cast time.

Some builds will occasionally forsake the PecoPeco Riding and Holy Cross skills in order to get a high level of Heal.
This build emphasizes doing powerful normal attacks at a rapid rate. Leveling spots include places such as Byalan Island and Ice Dungeon, as well as any map that standard melee characters level at. The class plays similar to the more familiar Agility Knight.

He la Vin 30.07.2009 19:10:39 : в одном варианте,кажется на КРО, скиллы назваются Devotion (то что "сопля") и Sacrifice (то что бьет у паладинов), а на IRO - Sacrifice и Martyr's Reckoning соответственно, то же касается и прессуры( на иРО - Gloria Domini), но не вызывает путаницы, как с сакрифайсом)
